Our Story

Grace For Mothers, a non profit, grew from the hearts of women with the hopes of impacting maternity and postpartum needs in the Central Texas community. Founder Anita Hernandez CPM, LM, through her years in birth work saw a large need where mothers where not able to access maternity and postpartum services they were desiring due to socioeconomic reasons. Along with the other board members such as Joycelyn Romero CPM, LM , the mission of Grace For Mothers has grown to provide grants for much needed maternity / postpartum support services and midwifery care. Grace For Mothers also operates a cloth diaper lending closet, a baby wearing chapter, a liaison for a food pantry in Waco. Lifeline was also founded as postpartum support group for mothers. Our heart is a heart of service, and a desire to help fill in the gap for families.
